BL-525 Big Bore, Big Power, Big Potato Gun

This video introduces the largest spud gun manufactured by Sureshot Inc. and debuts our production version of our compound round, the PCR-251. The BL-525 offers a barrel bore of 2.5” allowing giant spuds, tennis balls and our proprietary compound rounds to be used as projectiles. This behemoth spud gun shoots at over 500fps and has a whopping 2,200ft./lbs. of energy at the muzzle using our compound rounds.

The Sureshot premium compound round is a math-based design with a ˝ caliber “center of pressure” and “center of gravity” differential resulting in excellent non-spin flight stability typical of smooth bore spud guns. The fully machined round also hosts a rebated boat tail further helping to exhaust propelling gases through barrel brakes and reducing unwanted yaw / pitch upon exit of the barrel. Using our BL-525 potato gun and appropriate backstop, these UHMW/steel compound rounds allowed us many repeat firings and can withstand direct hits tough materials like steel and tube glass.
